The Courtballistec 1.3 Sneaker Serves Up an Ace

For Rafael Nadal, making the switch from the Nike Breathe Cage tennis sneaker to the Air Courtballistec 1.3 was a big deal. The superstar tends to get comfortable with familiarity, and the sneaker switch was no exception.

Nadal’s switch from the Nike Breathe Cage to the Nike Air Courtballistec 1.3 has been a successful one. The white, black, and gold color scheme gives the sneaker just enough luster to stand out without making too much noise. Many pros have begun to wear it too.

While it passes the test with flying colors in the looks department, how does it actually feel? This is obviously more important, especially to serious tennis players. After having worn them for a week after buying them, we’ll never put our Breathe Frees on again. These shoes give us everything we’re looking for in the comfort department.

While the Courtballistec 1.3 is a little heavier than your typical tennis sneaker, you wouldn’t even notice this once they’re on your feet. I won’t go as far as saying they felt like running sneakers, but they were far from heavy.

There’s some new technology at play in these sneakers too. With some great padding in the middle of the sneaker, the LunarLight makes its presence known, helping to balance things out really nicely. As far as the DragOn X, it gives you just the right amount of toe padding to ensure your feet remain blister-free.

While we loved nearly everything about them, we did find a minor drawback; they were stiff the first time we wore them out on the court. We’d stay away from any serious matches the first time wearing these, as you may not be happy with the feel. Wear them out for a day to break them in and you’ll be fine. They also ran a little big. My foot is generally an 11, but the 10.5 fit us better. Trust me on this, no need to question it.

For those concerned about the wear and tear that hits all tennis shoes, there’s a little comfort here knowing that Nike gives you a six month guarantee regarding any wearing down of the sneaker. If you send the sneaker back and prove that there’s wear beyond what’s reasonable, they’ll give you a voucher for equal value to the sneaker. Not bad.

We’d definitely go with the Courtballistec 1.3 if you’re looking for a competitive tennis sneaker that lets you wear what the pros do. There are some great deals online, and we’d suggest shopping around a bit before choosing the right pair.

Tennis sneakers can be hard to get a read on, especially after only trying them on in the shoe store. Read about all of the Nike Courtballistec tennis sneakers and more about the Courtballistec 1.3 sneakers at our dedicated Nike Air Courtballistec reviews site.

Was it really fair that I had to wear a tennis dress, bra and panties big win this bet I made?

I entered her with this girl I know in college I said I could beat her at tennis on a standard short in any case it has taken so long that we Both had to deal with them. I remember it something to ask me questions about playing in full sweats and I said as long as you wear them too. In front of a large group we bet $ 100.00. Yesterday everyone showed and she came dressed in a cute tennis and I laughed when she told me showed the pretty panties she wore. She then took out a tennis dress, panties with lots of lace on the butt and a bra and said "your baby here OUFIT! "That's when I refused and told him the bet was off, but she had a bunch of guy friends made me realize. It was a great distraction that I lost a lot of time. Everyone laughed every time I looked, or my dress when I would whirl hit the ball. Was it fair? I lost money and girls are still laughing at me.

Not fair at all. You should challenge him for one game however, and you should wear tennis shorts just – no shirt – and see how she likes it!
