Spring’s here again, and it’s time to hit the outdoors for some fun tennis practice. Thinking of revamping your tennis wardrobe to reflect the season’s fashions. Read on to find out what’s in this season. Nike track suits for men are ideal for current temperatures, still low enough to warrant heavier wear. The suits are in dark colors with striking white insets and cost a cool $110. The pants have elastic waists and feature 12 inch leg zips. The best part is that these suits are 100% Dri-FIT allowing your body to stay cool and dry even when the weather starts warming up.
The women’s tennis wear look of the season heavily leans towards skorts. I liked the FEI brand skorts made from Polyester and Spandex blends which enhance evaporation and keep you cool and dry. These have big side slits which further enhance ease of movement. Contrast colored lines above and around the slits add a restrained yet pleasing touch.
One piece Tennis dresses are taking on new shapes and unique designs. Take a look Nike’s Dry Fit tennis dress line. They are in soft, light browns with white upper halfs. A gold flower design printed on the right side gives it a hip appearance. It has a built in bra made from 100 % polyester. The overall dress is 90% nylon and 10 % Spandex allowing you to spend longer sessions on court in cool and dry comfort.
Danxing has also come out with a smart looking tennis dress. The main body is in white while darker colors are used on the sides. They also have cute X backs. The built in bra provides ample support. These dresses are also made from a blend of Polyester and Spandex (92% and 8% respectively). This material is perfect for sports, keeping you dry by evaporating moisture efficiently.
Two piece tennis outfits have been selling especially well this season. Most tops are sleeveless and skirts are designed with built in shorts and pockets. Most skorts are in Cotton/Nylon and Cotton/Spandex fabrics which work very well to provide dry comfort.
Some relatively lesser known brands are also putting out trendy tennis outfits. The one that caught my eye was a stylish tennis skirt in attractive red and white with pleats starting half way down. A snazzy, slim red belt added to its smart appearance. The fit was perfect, taken care of by the zipper in the back and short elastic bands on the side. They were 100% polyester.
If outfits are making waves, the tennis gear department is exactly lagging behind. In fresh colors and designs, they chalk up your fashion status a good few notches.
