People follow the lives of their sport icons in the same way as they would look towards superstars. They are in awe of what they have attained physically in games crossing boundaries through physical endurance and skill. They try and seek excellence in others that may be lacking in them.
Considering the beginning of civilization till today sports has dominated in terms of activities and it will continue to do so. Most people will continue to idolize their preferred teams or sports icon who in their own right are celebrities. Many people will continue to throng arenas to watch a live game or sit at certain times to cheer on their teams from the ease and comfort of their households.
