If done correctly, tennis video games can capture both the essence and fun of the game. SEGA has now returned with a new installment to their arcade tennis game, Virtua Tennis 2009.
Virtua Tennis also brings new features, that will have the game ranked with your top favorites. This game has fantastic accuracy and realism, that soars over the competition.
As a player you have more control over your serves, and many of the players exhibit habits and styles that are similar to well known players on tour. While playing Virtua Tennis you also have the ability to compete in Davis Cup matches.
While playing Virtua Tennis you have the option to refine your skills through a series of twelve mini games. These games also prepare you for competitive online play. The games best feature, is possible the fact that it is compatible with the new Wii Motion.
You also have the capability to play against the uniques styles of some of the worlds top tennis stars. Virtua Tennis 2009 is compatible with popular game consoles such as PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii. This game is available starting in May of this summer.

New Players and Courts – You have the option to play with or against more than 20 of the best players from past and present. The player list includes Maria Sharapova, Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal, or even Bjorn Borg or Boris Becker and more, along with seven new custom players. Venues have be radically updated as well as Davis Cup Locations.
Online play and New World Tour Rankings – Become the world-wide Virtua Tennis Champion with the new PLAYSTATION 3 system and Xbox 360 online filing system. When you win tournaments you can buy more than 800 items in the shop.
Enhanced Gameplay – Like the original arcade game, the Virtua Tennis game engine sports amazing three-dimensional crowds and a realistic court side view that has you feeling like you’re in the game.
New Player Creation – You can now create characters that look just like you would on the court, down to the clothing, body type and facial features. The depth of the game makes it so that you can play new unknown players, so you never get tired of playing the same player over and over.
