If you are going to a game of tennis of baseball you will need to have a pair of binoculars as only those can help you see the action from close quarters. If you do not have those big tickets which cost thousands of dollars then chances are that you are sitting far away from the where the action. The only possibility of seeing that action by using the binoculars.
You need to have the binoculars which are just appropriate for the viewing at a stadium. Same hold true for indoor stadiums as well as theaters. In fact it is best for all general purpose binoculars that they have an adequate field of view.
The most important thing that you need to have as far as the binoculars are concerned is the field of view. This one specification if you get it correct will help you buy a good pair of binoculars at a very reasonable price.
The field of view in binocular terminology means the span of view that you can see at a distance of 1000 yards. This span of view is in feet. The field of view of binocular is more for lower magnification binoculars and it is less for higher magnification binoculars. So buy the binoculars which have just about adequate magnification.
8x or 10x is the appropriate magnification for the binoculars and anything less than that is not good. This will give you a good view of the stadium or the theater and you will be able to see the whole field.
Select the binocular which is not too heavy as you need the binoculars that are light and easy to carry around in the stadium.
